It’s the annual holiday episode and Major, Mack and Martin were in the Basement! This episode we talked about 2016 XXL Freshmen class, the holidays and we reviewed an album we missed this year, Smoke DZA and Pete Rock’s “Don’t Smoke Rock” album.
Due to a snow storm we didn’t have Major in the basement this week. So JMack took the opportunity to address a LOT of feedback we’ve been getting regarding the J.Cole “4 Your Eyez Only” album review he and MOLA1 did in the last episode, Episode 61.

The opportunity to speak to one of the most influential legends in hip-hop is one of the highest honors in this culture. So when we had the opportunity to speak with one of the greats we gave him a call. Grandmaster Caz of The Cold Crush Brothers was not only one of the very first MC’s to ever start actually writing his rhymes for his songs, but he was also THE first ghost writer in hip-hop music.
